Riverside City College: Spring 2017

Greetings all future RN students. I just wanted to start a thread for any potential applicants who will be applying to riverside city college RN program this September for Spring 2017. Let's all get together on this thread and share experiences as well as answer questions. I know the application period is 6 months away, but it will be here before you know it! :yes:

I still haven't received my email either! 81pts if they count the micro class that they made me retake because I took it out of state. 😡 I don't think I can wait until Monday for an email! I guess I'll just go back to "you have virtually no chance of getting in if you have classes in progress" mode 😩😩😩

maybe they are sending emails out later for people that had incomplete applications

If rcc was the only school you applied ro and you took the TEAS somewhere else did you have to pay ati extra to send your results to rcc?

Yes you had to have ati send them to rcc it's like 25 bucks

Well i had no idea. It doesnt say anything about that when you schedule the test. And jackie said that they have directors access to the scores at ati.

If you took it at rcc you didn't have to send it ....

I too took the TEAS somewhere else, and I logged into my TEAS account and placed an order to have my results sent to RCC. I think that only those who took it at RCC weren't required to do so.

I took the TEAS at Loma Linda and was told to remember my ATI info (login, etc) because I would need to send my results to the school I applied to. I already knew this because I read everything regarding applying at RCC so many times, but it was nice of the lady to mention it.

Even if you didn't send in your results, I'm surprised you didn't get a rejection email stating they had no TEAS score on file for you.

I was unaware there was an extra step involved through ati. I thought that when you entered your institution it was sent there. Grrrrr! Now i think im screwed!

They should tell you something if that was the case. They emailed me the remind me to send transcripts or else my app wouldn't be accepted. I sent everything, but they haven't sent me an email :/ I wonder if that's just like an assumed denial? Let me know what they say Monday!
