Riverside City College (RCC) Nursing Fall 2024

Hello everyone, I wanted to start this thread for anyone who applied to RCC'S ADN traditional program for fall 2024 because I haven't seen one for this cycle yet and there should soon be some information about TEAS invitations coming out as well as acceptances.

I ordered them from the rcc bookstore. I did look into the publisher copies, but they say they are loose leaf three whole punched and black/white copies. I personally just didn't want a lot of binders with books in them. 
We need the book access codes for boot camp and I'm worried my order won't get here in time 😕

I believe the bookstore has everything we need. One package is digital and the other one is digital+printed. On our email we got with the info for intake, there is a PowerPoint that says the book bundles have everything we need and he to locate them on the bookstore.

the people in a gc we have haven't orderd books yet so I think you're okay for now. I went in person the other day to see if I could order them there, but they had no idea what I was talking about.

How did you navigate to the part on the website where we can purchase? I have not done so because I don't know exactly what to select for the course/section.

On the website you go to where you put in the course and section and for the course it's NRN 11 and the sections are all the same packages anyway so I don't think it matters which one you pick.

Yes I just picked a random course for section 11 and both bundles came up. One bundle is digital and one is hard copy texts. 🙂

Has anyone purchased the digital copy bundle from the bookstore, if so, were you sent the access codes to the books right away?

I ordered the digital bundle and I got an email stating it was backordered 😞

Where did y'all get your CPR? I did mine through Palm Desert Resusitation Education and it was an AHA BLS course, and complio admin said "Your school or placement facility requires that you submit the card issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) for this item. -No other provider can be accepted, even if they state the training is to the AHA's standards."

So I'm wondering if anyone else had this problem? I'm going to call on Monday but just wanted to see if anyone else encountered this

That's weird. Does your certificate/card say "BLS provider" on it?
 

Anyways I got mine at AFunCPRClass in Moreno Valley. The class was only 2 hours. And complio accepted it without any problems.

Did anyone else order from the bookstore and has not gotten their codes? I got the digital print so I thought it would be fast, but my order says its backordered 😞
