Riverside City College (RCC) Nursing - Fall 2024

Published

Hello everyone, I wanted to start this thread for anyone who applied to RCC'S ADN traditional program for fall 2024 because I haven't seen one for this cycle yet and there should soon be some information about TEAS invitations coming out as well as acceptances.

Has anybody received a confirmation email after sending their acceptance? I sent mine on Friday and have yet to hear back.

Have you heard back yet? I haven't heard anything since the initial acceptance emails were sent.

I ended up emailing one of the nursing enrollment specialists to make sure my acceptance email was received and they emailed back saying it was and that they were emailing people back, so if you haven't gotten a confirmation email I would email them soon since tomorrow is the deadline to accept your spot in the program.

Has anyone received an update about the intake event? Is it intended to be in person?

I contacted the nursing enrollment specialist last week about it and she said that they will hopefully be sending out emails this week but that they are still finalizing documents. Intake day is an in person event that will mostly cover complio she said as well, so come with questions ready about it.

Hey guys I'm going to apply next month and I have 57 points. Is it possible to get in as an alternate in the program??

The lowest I've seen get in is like 68-69 but 20% of the acceptances are lottery so there is a small chance

Hi everyone. I just got my titers back and I will need to do the Varicella and Hep B shots. I think I will be able to get the shots done before July 15 (complio due) but not the 2nd titer for Hep B. I think I saw in the info email that to start school we need the 2 shots done but no mention of the titer. Does anyone know if it's okay to not have the 2nd titer done by July 15? I've called but I'm waiting to hear back so any info helps!

I'm not sure how strict they are on this stuff especially because on the checklist they want us to submit everything by July 5, so I would definitely follow up with the nursing enrollment specialist.

Hi all! Is anyone having trouble getting their books? I ordered mine 8 weeks ago and they are on back order with no ETA.
Just looking to see what everyone else is dealing with.

Where did you order the books from ? I've seen that you can order them on the bookstore website but it's so much more expensive and it doesn't have elsevier on the publisher so I've been hesitant to buy it from there.
