Rio Hondo College Spring 2019

I couldn't find any threads for the Rio Hondo Spring 2019 (due 8/27~10/1) cohort, so I'm starting a new thread here. It's my first time applying and not sure how good my chances are. Would love to hear from everyone who also applied! I'm told the selection process begins in October, and they will let us know by November since the first advisement meeting is scheduled for November 9th.

i got accepted as an alternate but it didn’t say my place on the alternate list... does anyone know how many alternates rio hondo takes?

What is considered disadvantaged academic or social environment? Im confused in what that is considered.
