Rio Hondo College (RHC) Fall 2025

Hello! Just wanted to start a forum for RHC's application cycle that started March 2nd. Has anyone applied yet? Still waiting for my RHC student ID.

This happened to me last semester when I got accepted into their CNA program. Disregard it. You got an alternate spot 🙂 congrats. Bc they told all alternates last orientation that they will get in.

Still haven't heard anything. I'm thinking I didn't get in. Here are my stats: 

-3.9 GPA, 3.7 in my core sciences. TEAS score was 78%. 140 volunteer hours at PIH hospital. 

my counselor said that they look at GPA more than TEAS score. But who knows

Has anyone purchased the Castle Brach yet? I entered the specific code they provided (RK40), but all documentation necessary says is past due 2024?? and class of 2026 ??

It happened to me too. I responded to the other email regarding the recall and got another separate email response stating that the alternative letter sent out was an error. I am a bit worried.

it happened to me too. They also said it was sent in error.

I just got an email with an apology saying it was sent in error as well 🥲

Yes I did! I also got the same thing saying everything is past due even though it is the code they gave us. I tried calling the department two times to confirm the code is correct but they did not pick up. I did see that the Spring 2025 cohort also experienced the same thing, so I guess maybe the school just keeps reusing the code or something.

I emailed (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME- PLEASE DO NOT POST IDENTIFYING INFO ABOUT OTHERS) so hopefully it gets fixed

I just got a call from Rio Hondo saying I wasn't selected as an alternate
