Rio Hondo College Fall 2023 ADN program

Hey everyone, I didn't see a post for this round of applications so I figured I'd make one. This is my third application for Rio Hondo's ADN program. Hopefully I get in although my stats aren't the best. I have also applied to Mt. Sac and Citrus college. If I don't get in I'll probably just bite the bullet and apply to West Coast.

Overall GPA: 3.7

Science GPA: 3.3

TEAS score: 78.7%

AA/AS degree

Two life experiences.

Call the college and tell them to you can't access it...did you put a personal email when you applied ? I would try to get that figured out asap cause the email says to respond by Monday

thank you, I got my acceptance in my personal e-mail but I was curious if there was anything with my student one, and thats when I found out I couldnt access it LOL

Congratulations everyone! So excited to be accepted!

The acceptance letter states they need my answer by Wednesday. I applied to couple schools that are much closer to me. Do I have to reject the acceptance just to see if I got in elsewhere?

No, I don't think you have to reject the acceptance.

No, I don't think you have to. I'm pretty sure if you accept it now and then if you get accepted to one of your top choices; you'd still be able to drop your application from Rio Hondo. You'll just have to tell them and they'll just call the next person that's in line. Wish you the best of luck in getting to your dream school! ?

Thank you! Ya it seemed weird that I'd have to let them know within two days of my acceptance. I am beyond excited to get into Rio Hondo, just a shorter commute would be even better!

You're welcome and Yeah that's definitely ideal since once we're in the school it will probably be our 2nd home ?LOL yep they're definitely pressing us to decide quickly!
