Hey everyone, I didn't see a post for this round of applications so I figured I'd make one. This is my third application for Rio Hondo's ADN program. Hopefully I get in although my stats aren't the best. I have also applied to Mt. Sac and Citrus college. If I don't get in I'll probably just bite the bullet and apply to West Coast.

Overall GPA: 3.7

Science GPA: 3.3

TEAS score: 78.7%

AA/AS degree

Two life experiences.

I have an AA that I petitioned for thru rio but IDK if that would count since it's not posted yet..

CNA / hospital experience 1000+ hrs

@Bree_ don't be discouraged. It's a competitive process. There was someone with similar stats to mine who applied last term and they got in to Rio and I did not. The Dean said I was #94. Hopefully they post the degree before they pull your transcripts. That happened to me two application cycles ago. They didn't count my degree because it wasn't posted yet.

does anyone have the multi-criteria sheet with the amount of points they give us? the one on the site doesn't indicate how many points each section awards us.

also on parchment, they still havent downloaded my transcripts, is this normal for anyone?

They don't indicate that I've also tried looking LOL , I think Rio Hondo only knows the amount of points per category.

Yeah me too parchment says "Available for Download" and that they were received since 01/19/23. I called admissions and they confirmed they received them. They'll probably download them soon as the application window closes, but I think I'll call for a second time to admissions just to confirm LOL.

Hey  guys! 

When you filled out the application did it allow you to select the life experiences? The app says may check up to five areas but there's no where to check.

I kinda just assumed that Rio Hondo could sort it for us, because if you remember that the evidence or proof for each one were pretty unique. so it's easier for them to sort which is which.

OK cool! Just wanted to make sure. It's my first time applying everywhere so I'm so paranoid that I'm going to mess it up.
