Hello. I haven't seen a thread for Rio Hondo ADN Spring 2024 applicants so I made one for anyone else who is applying and has questions or wants to keep in touch for the application process.

Did anyone find any other brand of pewter gray pants? I found some but I'm not sure if the shade is off and how much it matters if it's a little bit off?

I bought mines on Amazon, they're like $27 for a pair. I'm gonna see how they are before I invest on pricy scrubs

These actually do look more similar to the pewter color than the other gray that they have, but they might look different in person, and just make sure they're not joggers! I had to return two pairs of scrub bottoms after they sent out the uniform email

From what I've seen, dickies and Cherokee have the pewter color that they're looking for, they have quite a few on Amazon

Anyone logged on their Canvas? I was able too see the syllabus and it looks like we will use 2022 textbooks

I saw that after I already bought the ones that the bookstore had listed. Im sure it'll be fine though. 

I also saw that there are two handbooks? Anyone know where to get them?

Question, probably has been asked before but I'm still confused. 
Do we wear our uniform on Monday (1/29) - first day ? Or ???

 

im so confused with their uniform policy. I ordered the nursing t shirt sold by RHC club just in case we're only allowed to wear those shirts or our uniform

That Monday is technically a clinical/lab day, so full scrub uniform. Yes, every other day, where we're in classrooms we are allowed to wear an RHC T-shirt, but we still have to wear our scrub bottoms, and uniform shoes. If it's cold, we can also wear a sweater or jacket, but it has to be zip up and it has to expose our RHC T-shirt.

We can wear any scrubs as long as they're the same colors and have the rhc patch right?

Hi, can anyone help me? How many CRNs is everyone registered for? I originally registered for all the CRNs initially emailed to us. I noticed last week an email was sent with less CRNs and I asked if we switch to those but never got a response. I'm just wondering if I'm signed up for the wrong things?
