Rio Hondo College ADN Spring 2024

Hello. I haven't seen a thread for Rio Hondo ADN Spring 2024 applicants so I made one for anyone else who is applying and has questions or wants to keep in touch for the application process.

Did everyone finish all requirements? I'm worried I'm forgetting something?

I finished all my requirement but Rio Hondo just called me 2 days ago that I have to redo my TB test since my X-ray is due next year March  ? but they said it's not going to affect my castle branch and they'll give me until January

My castle branch is still pending review on my tb requirement but Rio Hondo said it is okay as long as it is uploaded. Did u receive an email after you completed everything? I just like confirmation LOL

No, the status just changed to compliant. I called RHC a few days ago when they will be sending the CRN they said around January. But I'm gonna go tomorrow to the key to success to confirm if all of my documents are okay

Please let me know if anything important is said. I'm out of town but I did notice there's a zoom link so I might try and join at least for a short amount of time

Hi everyone, anyone heard any updates from Rio Hondo?

I'm starting to purchase all my materials and supplies but I want to ask/ confirm, we have 3 textbooks, right ?

Yea for the first semester it's the three books on the power point

For a while I couldn't find them on the rio book store website but now they're up! And they have options, rental, digital etc

Yeah I think the semester for Rio Hondo in general starts on the 27th. As for our actual class schedule, we still have to wait for the CRNs to be sent out to us.

That's odd because other nursing program like their CNAs and LVN program I think they already received their CRNs and we still haven't heard anything back from them. They haven't even reached out to us if we are actually compliant with our documents uploaded on CB. Not even when is our orientation
