Hey everyone! I thought I'd open this forum for those of us applying to Rio Hondo. Applications are right around the corner and it would be great to use this as a means of communication. Feel free to post, ask questions, or respond. I hope to hear from you!

Just received an acceptance email for the ADN program

Received mine at 641pm

Congrats to everyone who got in! Guess I should look into getting a CNA cert ?

Only some people got it, so maybe they're in the process of typing the rest of everyone else's

Regardless we need to receive an email right whether it’s an acceptance or a denial?

lol what kinda school does a form e-mail and sends them out separately, haha! But I could be positive for once and believe that's true ?

I do believe they will email the denials, they should mail the acceptances along with emailing.

Because I only see 1 person got it and there should be 39 others? considering also the fact the other person that is applying has a 4.0 in science GPA and an 89.3 TEAS I find it hard to believe they didn't get in since it isn't lottery

I doubt the 39 others are here though, haha

I'd rather deal with the disappointment now, and then be pleasantly surprised later, if that's the case.

Also that 4.0 GPA and 89.3 TEAS is me and I definitely didn't get an email lol

I’m kind of skeptical as well because my stats are way higher than the person who said that got the acceptance letter.

NGL I recalled GPA and TEAS are a heavy factor in points. So I rather shoot myself in the foot if someone wouldn't accept me with those scores. There's also the chance that the 39 others are also on this forum with us. Maybe they're doing this based on tier. cuz JC is like the perfect candidate for applying with those experience
