Rio Hondo ADN Summer 2022

Hey guys! I just wanted to start a thread for Rio Hondo ADN Summer 2022 Applicants! I got an email last week saying we should hear back about mid March! Crossing my fingers for us all!

I haven’t received anything too. Somebody told me she already got rejection from last week. 

If I was not selected, then where is my rejection letter :(( at least I don’t have to nervous anymore…Does anybody got anything?

I have not received anything either, but heard someone say they were rejected. Regardless, they did not follow up on the dates they said they would release notifications which way mid march if selected and may if rejected.

I have not received anything yet. I don’t think they will be sending emails this week since they are on Spring break from 3-28 to 4-1 ?

I did receive an email on 3/24 saying they didn’t get one of my transcripts in time ? such a bummer but I found out about the program a few days before it closed and the transcripts take 2 days or so to be received .. I’m sad, but and hopeful for next app cycle

Somebody on the facebook page mentioned that rio hondo had released decisions TODAY (3/30) and a separate individual mentioned that she had heard from someone else who had gotten rejected LAST week. However, now that you mention they are on Spring break, I think it might be a little strange they would release decisions during break. The person who said they had released notifications today (3/30) did NOT elaborate. I don't know what is going on tbh

I'm sorry to hear that ? don't give up though! I'm actually surprised they took the courtesy to let you know. Other schools said they will ruthlessly just reject you. At least you know why, you know?

The individuals who received denials last week are likely the ones with incomplete applications. Did you happen to receive a confirmation e-mail that your application was received, by the way?

And have you been able to get ahold of anyone from the nursing department? I keep calling and leaving messages but it feels like nobody ever answers me or sends my message back. ?

I got a email as a receipt. I agreed it’s hard to contact with them. 

Somebody on the facebook who was denied as well told me that is because she repeated class…

I hadn't thought about this but good point. Maybe last week they sent rejections for incomplete applications. They were hard to reach during normal school days as it was but like someone had already mentioned before, they are on Spring break at the moment so most likely won't get back to us until 4/3 and onwards

Hello everyone,

It's three days before the mandatory orientation on April 8th, I still haven't received any email from them ? I called and they also do not have answers as to when they will be sending it out. The suspense is killer. LOL

They have started giving acceptances! 2 people from the FB group got a call a few minutes ago to be offered a spot!
