Rio Hondo ADN Summer 2021

Hi y’all, I just notice Rio Hondo posted their application deadline on their website. I was wondering if anyone is also applying?

This is going to be my second time applying.

3.36 science, 3.24 overall

82.7 TEAS 

2 AAs, ortho tech cert, CNA experience, home care aid, ekg cert, BLS

over 200 hours in a hospital as a patient care tech/transporter.

My grades weren’t so great starting out in school so it took me a while to get my GPA back up. It’s not that competitive but I’m hoping my work experience and letters of rec help me out.

She responded saying: "Selected/Not Selected letters for the Summer 2021 ADN application period have not been sent yet.  Information is sent to the email you listed on your application."

Oh wow. Can they just hurryyyyyy the anxiety is eating me alive. So I wonder if it means this week or next week. I can’t go another week pass by and nothing like that will eat me alive mkre

LOL..It will be OK, we got this! I am confused...is the provisional selection just to make sure everyone has their pre reqs and everything? Or does it mean we got into the program?

It means you are in the program since everything has been completed unless it’s about like GE stuff. We have everything done so that has to mean acceptance

I think you’re provisionally accepted  until you’ve successfully passed the background check and health requirements. Officially accepted once you’ve completed the Summer course.

Hi, has anyone gotten the acceptance email? I read last year, people got it on 4/1, and they had to inform the department of nursing if they are attending the mandatory advising on 4/8. The mandatory advising was held on 4/10. Since the mandatory advising is on 4/16 this year, I was thinking they might email us today or tomorrow?
