Hi y’all, I just notice Rio Hondo posted their application deadline on their website. I was wondering if anyone is also applying?
This is going to be my second time applying.

Yes I am applying this cycle. This is my first time applying to any program so hoping for beginners luck LOL
my stats are 3.83 overall GPA, A in Physio and Micro but B in Anatomy, 3 life experiences, second language, TEAS of 74.7, 101 hrs volunteer even tho they want 200+ Imma still throw it in for perks. Hopefully this is enough for first time admission or even just waitlist and hope for luck.

What other schools are you applying too? The only ones I know are for sure taking new applications for their Fall cohort is Rio, LBCC and golden west. Everyone else either pushed back their Spring cohort to Fall or isn’t taking no applications ?
Here’s my stats:
Overall GPA: 3.35
Science GPA: 4.00
BA degree
TEAS: 84.7
5 life experience
I’m currently taking a CNA course but I finish the class after the deadline so I can’t put that in there. ? Only 50 volunteer hours but I’m going to throw it in there and I’m also going to throw my BLS card too.

I’m sure you’ll get in! I just got into my CNA program so if I don’t get accepted in fall then I’ll have hours for Spring... I’m applying to mt sac, citrus. And I applied to CSULA. IDK what my chances are anywhere so hopefully I get in somewhere

Hi, it's my first time applying here.
Overall GPA: 3.3
Science GPA: 3.67
BS degree
TEAS: 78%
3 life experiences
I have more than 200 hours of healthcare work experience that isn't direct patient care but I'll include it in my application away. Good luck guys.

Does anyone know how you know Rio hondo got your mail in application? Or you just mail it in and hope that they received it. I’m kinda nervous that it might get lost in the mail somehow haha it’s just my paranoia

I’m going to send mine through certified mail. That way it gets acknowledged by someone at the school that they received my application.
Ahhh I didn’t know about that. I shipped via priority mail

Hi everyone, I just mailed in my application today. Mailing it is definitely nerve-wracking, but I hope it all goes out okay. My stats are:
4.0 science and cumulative GPA
Spanish
CNA license
500+ CNA hours, 200+ volunteer hours
2 life experiences
89.3% TEAS
Rio is my first choice so I'm hoping it goes smoothly and that I didn't miss any required documents? I wish us all good luck
