Beachbody is insanely expensive and a never ending marketing machine for hundreds of products.
Let me give you a better plan. Download two apps: Free Calorie Counter, Diet & Exercise Journal | MyFitnessPal.com
and
RunKeeper - Track your runs, walks more with your iPhone or Android phone - RunKeeper.
Start logging your food and exercise.
Then look up Skinnytaste for amazing healthy recipes that use REAL FOOD and a writer who doesn't preach food politics at you. She offers options for all diet choices, but doesn't shame you into eating any certain way.
All of my suggestions are free and currently working for my husband and myself.
I needed a workout to do at home after my son was born. I was skeptical but I bought into one of the Beachbody gimmicks. I bought T25 & finished the Alpha round. I was surprised at how much weight I lost! Then I saw the maker (Shaun T) of that work out was coming out with a new DVD. So I bought the new one (Insanity Max: 30) & finished month one & started month 2 this week.
Honestly, I'm a believer now. I am still losing weight. I bought T25 cheap from a discount website but Max:30 from the Beachbody website. I didn't think the first DVD would work or that I would stick to it.
Ok, I'm stepping off my soapbox now. 😜
I have some food intolerances (for reals) and am very carb sensitive, like Jekyll and Hyde. I do best on low carb and hit all of my goals last year but our transition onto EMR is using most of my time and energy (I'm not hourly) and I've been emotionally eating thru the holidays. I can go strict and actually thrive on it ONCE I get established but I havn't succeeded yet.
