Hi all,
I took my nclex 3 times 6 yrs ago. I got discouraged so I just gave up. I feel like this is my dream...I want to take the exam again. Where should I begin? Names of books or programs to study? Thanks in advance!

I took the NCLEX-RN 3 times in the past too. I feel like everytime I get my failing report part of me was demolished and along with it my self-esteem. I thought maybe this is the universe telling me to be content where I am or to find another path. I wanted to give it another shot but I'm just as lost where to start. Part of me wanted to go back to nursing school. I am planning to give another try in April or May. Any suggestion? Word of advise?

I would say start with content. Hurst & Saunders are both good for content.

I agree with the previous poster Saunders or Hurts or perhaps a refresher course. Good Luck!

Just don't give up! I know several awesome nurses who had to retake NCLEX more than once. Good luck!
Thank you all for taking the time to share your advice! I will go to the library and start with those books suggested....

Please consider my advice. I had to retake the NCLEX fresh out of nursing school. The first time I studied the Hurst, Kaplan, and Saunders. The second time I studied Kaplan and I did the 3 week online course for $50.00 on the National nursing website. This program was awesome. It really help me pass boards!!!Since u been out for awhile, I would consider reviewing Hurst for the content, Kaplan and definitely the online program I mentioned. You can do it! Keep God 1st and ask him to guide you! This will be your TESTIMONY!!! It was mine!!!
