Hello everyone,
My name is Bryan and I thought it would be helpful to start a new thread in order to connect with others who have either applied/or are already accepted into the Resurrection University Summer 2015 program. Please feel free to comment and ask any questions. I am looking forward to hearing from all of you soon!
Hello everyone!
Fellow future nurse (LPN-grad this spring:)) and first time poster coming through with a question or two...
Ill be graduating and sitting for boards this spring for my LPN License and was looking for schools with BSN bridge programs. I saw ResU on another older post saying they have (or had) an LPN-BSN program. When I went to the school's site to research it more the page wasn't available. Anywho I did see something about a 16 month BSN program but the site doesn't really give you much on the requirements. Is this 16 month BSN program at ResU ONLY for people whom already have a previous baccalaureate degree in another discipline?? I know most BSN programs that are 16 months are usually the accelerated types of programs. Could I apply for this program with my LPN license along with the necessary PreReqs?? I need help and will appreciate all!
By the way---thank you for making such an informative and needed thread!!

Hi Mel,
there re is a 16 month day prpgram and a 20 month night program-both accelerated. I believe you can apply for them if you have all the ore-reqs. Basically all the gen Eds and then they have some science classes that they want. If you have an associates degree or bachelors it makes it easier to just bipass all the gen eds. Like I have a bachelors in another feild from 2013 and so I only had to take the science classes. Since your an lpn you probably have most of the science classes. I would do a transcript evaluation on their site and within a couple of days someone will email you and let you know what you have to take still.
Hi I got mine today! It is a lot of things to get done by April 1st, I hope it all goes smoothly. I wonder how we know what size uniforms to get. If anyone has experience with those or with the student pack they say to get please let me know. I have seen other students make comments that you don't really have to buy it right away, but I would rather be too prepared than not enough. I'm so excited and nervous!
Hey you guys! I just got accepted into the summer program, but I was also waiting to hear back from Lewis University. I was just wondering if you knew about which program was better/ which you would prefer? Im having a hard time deciding if I should just start summer with resU or wait to see if I get into Lewis, as it is cheaper. Thanks guys!
