I'm starting this thread so that all my fellow applicants for Resu Fall 2014 can have a place to come and ask any and every question that may come to mind. I know I am a tad bit (ok a lot of bit lol) early since the app deadline isn't until April 1st. However, it would be great to hear from all of you as we start this app process.
Where are you taking your prerequisites now? Are you applying to any other BSN programs? Is there anything you are worried/nervous about as far as applying goes?
Hi, I am also starting in the Fall! I received that email as well, but I have no tried yet to complete the quiz bc I have not yet taken the drug test or completed a few of the titers-I just uploaded today and will be getting drug test this week. Does anybody know if we must have everything completed before we can do that quiz and sign up for orientation? Thanks for any info!

Has anybody received their award letter from financial aid also. I just finished my certified profile yesterday. I got great news from the finance office. I have to pay close to nothing for school. Super excited :)
Hey everyone! I'm feeling a bit lost and I'm hoping someone can help me out.
So I just got my acceptance to the Pre-licence day program for fall 2014 and I am beyond excited. However I got my acceptance letter on June 24... giving me 3.5 weeks to get everything done, so I'm a little stressed out.
I was wondering if anyone could give me any insight about where or how to get the titer tests done. I'm out of the state for the summer, which also adds to my stress level of not being able to see my primary care physician. Anyway, I've been searching for places to get my titer tests done and am failing in finding places to get them. I feel like every link I go to, it says I have to order the tests, and they are quite pricey! which is why I don't think I'm looking at the right places.
Can I just get them done when I get my physical? Or do I get them somewhere else?

You will have to go to a lab or place where they do blood work. It should not be that much if u have decent insurance. I made an appt with my primary care for my physical and got to go over to the lab for my blood work all in the same day. I only had to pay for the doc visit ($25) and the lab visit was free per my insurance. I only needed to come back to the office to get the second tb shot done. Should all be pretty affordable.
just one more question, the place that I got my drug test today told me they do titer tests as well, the woman helping me just told me to bring the orders. Do I have to place orders myself or did the school do that for us with the links in the certifiedbackground website?
