Hello all and Happy New Year!

I'm starting this thread so that all my fellow applicants for Resu Fall 2014 can have a place to come and ask any and every question that may come to mind. I know I am a tad bit (ok a lot of bit lol) early since the app deadline isn't until April 1st. However, it would be great to hear from all of you as we start this app process.

Where are you taking your prerequisites now? Are you applying to any other BSN programs? Is there anything you are worried/nervous about as far as applying goes?

So has anybody heard back yet for Fall 2014? I got a call from Juan Miranda on Tuesday saying i was accepted!! :)

If it's okay to ask, what was your Science GPA and overall GPA? TEAS? Also when did you submit you application?

I'm feeling wary, I know its only about the second week of April but knowing other people have already heard back makes me anxious!

My science gpa is a 4.0 and overall is 2.9 bc of an F I received in like 2008. I think teas was a 77 or 76 and my app was completed in January but I had started it in October.

do you have less of a chance of being accepted if you still have a pre-req withstanding? I need to take the micro bio lab (I've only taken the lecture portion since at the time the school I was applying to didnt require the lab) but I plan on taking it over the summer before fall classes begin.

No I don't believe so. As long as u complete it before the start of classes you should be ok.

Does anyone know what a sample weekly schedule would look like? Like what hours we will be attending class? I need to figure out my daycare situation in case I get accepted. So excited to hear back!!!

On the FAQ of the Resu page they have a sample schedule (under academics). I am not sure if it includes hours because every time I try clicking on it, it doesn't work. Maybe it will work for you. http://resu.edu/why-ru/faq/

I got an email today saying I got accepted! :) Surprised it took less than a month for them to get back to me! Looking forward to seeing those who are starting this fall!
