Resurrection University Applicant Spring 17

Published

Hello,

I am writing this thread to find out if anyone will be trying to attend Resurrection University's Accelerated BSN program in the daytime and/or evening program in Spring 2017. I have read a lot of threads about the daytime program offering more supports and I wanted to get better clarification on that. Currently as I type, I will be completing my Chemistry and A&P II in the spring and summer of 2016. I will taking my TEAS V exam on January 15. As far as acceptance scores are concerned, can anyone who currently or previously attended the institution share what their stats were? I am really nervous, stressed, scared and happy all at the same time lol, however, I hope that all of the efforts I am putting into attending this program will pay off!!

I agree the online exam appeared harder but I got a 66.7 so I thought I was good for the real exam. Math was my highest score then English, Reading and Science with a big fat 58%. I focused more on the English for the second test but I got the same score! :( My name is Zai. Did you take your test at Resu on the 10th? and if you don't mind me asking when do you take your exam at Joilet? Your kind of motivating me to take the test again!

Yes I took it on the 10th. I sat in the first row on the right hand side of the room. I was the first person in that row. I can't remember the exact day I signed up for, however, I am only taking it again because I am applying for St. Xavier accelerated daytime BSN program and I believe they require a 75.

Just an update on my application process so far.…...yesterday I was informed by my advisor that I will be sent to committee (unfortunately because my teas score was a 66.7) however, I am somewhat nervous/confident/scared. If there is anyone who can inform me that they were sent to committee but still admitted, please let me know. Also, if there is anyone who is applying for Spring 17 feel free to comment!

I was a committee and still accepted!! Good luck!

Great to hear!! How was/is the program? Do you have any study tips to give? Or any advice?

I start in about a week Sept 6. I personally, got all my paperwork done asap, ordered my uniform, books, and supplies asap. I have read that some people start getting all their supplies the first week of class. It all depends on you and what works for you. I have just read through a bunch of forums on here. It really does vary. I will try to update when I start but Good luck and I hope the best for you in your journey.

Thanks for letting me know! And hope to hear from you again after you've settled in!

I'll be starting in Jan (daytime)... any one else?

Hello, you said you start in January but what year 2017, if so did you got accepted because I'm still waiting for my acceptance letter

Yes, 2017. I was accepted early August and am now just waiting for orientation and such.

I wonder how long it will take them to let those applying for evening weekend in 2017 know.

Thank you, did they call you or email you? @Cathy25

I applied to the spring 2017 daytime semester too but have yet to hear anything. My advisor emailed me a week ago and told me my file was complete and will be going through the official review process soon. Hopefully I will hear back soon :)
