Most people will tell you that you should have the last 10 yrs of work experience on your resume, if possible if you are old enough to have 10 yrs working.
And why can't you have that you were a grocery clerk or worked in a printing shop? Grocery clerks have constant customer interaction, thats a great job skill, communication with people, interaction with them, and the printing shop I'm sure there is something that you did there that can add to your skills.
With not putting those two jobs you will have a huge gap in jobs from 1999-2002. Depending on your age, people interviewing you will probably ask "so what did you do in 1999-2002". It tends to look better with no gaps in employment.
Do a google search for something like graduate nurse resumes, you can get an idea on how to "spice up" that resume.
Oh, do you have a career services type department in the school you attened? maybe you can have someone in that department help you.
I was always going to school--and working!- and my resume is not for a job position but for the RN-BSN program for the state universityThanks for your help!!
Oh, I'm sorry I misunderstood your question. I thought you were a new RN looking to send in a resume' to a place you were interested in for a job.
I get it now, you are looking to update the resume for the BSN program.

I wanted to know what websites you use for resumes!
I did my resume for a project for my last semester at school--- but it's when I was a student-- so for experience, I put clinical experience--
and I can't put that I worked at a grocery store in 1999 or that I worked at a print shop in 2001 until I became a medical assistant in 2002.
I want to know what websites you use to help spice up a bland resume like mines.
I was a nursing assistant from 2002 until 2006 when I quit to have my baby and finish up nursing school, and in 2007 I finished school and became an RN.... OMG I am so confused, I do not know where to start!!!
thanks for you help!!
