I think that looks alright! Add references at the bottom maybe and just make it look pretty. :) I have also found an application on my laptop that gives me templates. Sometimes they will have extra "things" that you can add to your resume... Like a whole new section for "professional experience" and a section for "objective" for example. They are all a little different. Just choose one that catches your eye... I hope that helps. I think the substance is good. Sometimes formatting is that special touch that makes it "pop."

Does your school have a career center? At mine I went there and they had some who is for the allied health students.
She took what I thought was a good resume and tweaked it....a lot
After that I started getting calls for interviews (no solid jobs yet)
One suggestion I would add, that she did to mine was to add after education add your total clinical hours and include if you had any specialized rotations
and once that first real RN job comes through, you drop off the clinical stuff
Thanks for the help!!

lilysa - i prefer to put my job experience first as i think that is what most employers are looking for first then my education, here's my resume for example- i know it's no where near perfect but just a taste of another format:

There is alot of information about this in the Nursing Career advice section. I just revamped my resume yesterday and I got some tips from this website that deals specifically with nurse resumes Cardillo Associates
I think it could use a little work. I cant stress the importance of a good cover letter also. I rework my resume to fit every potential employer to what I think they are looking for. ie autonomy or team player, teaching skills, managment skills etc.
