RESULTS ON HOLD

Published

]hi friends, i took my test on June 2nd 2011, its been 4 days im waiting for my results. it shows "RESULTS ON HOLD, A NEW REGISTRATION CAN NOT BE CREATED" and it also shows "DELIVERY SUCCESSFULL". has any one got any idea when i would receive my test results, it has been solid 4 days ! pls help... (just praying..)

hey guys,

You are my hope right now, took exam Monday, still no results. I also had to call pearson vue (which I did twice) and NCSBN. Apparently you can get flagged for using too many white boards, it is is automatic flag and delays results until the council can review what I have written to make sure I didn't cheat.

This is sooo nerve wrecking. They could have at least warned me on the website that they don't like you getting clean white boards (even though they provide them and take the old one away!!!!! then what's the point!). No warning that my results wouldn't be showing up in 48 hours. The only way I knew something was up is that the PVT wasn't working! Then when I called PV after 48 hours, asked me if I used multiple white boards? I was like yeah, wasn't I allowed? I told NCSBN they should really warn people of a limit on their website, because I would have used my boards more conservatively (instead of writing all huge and messy) to not go through all this waiting!

I hope I passed, 76 questions, 1 hour 45 minutes......pray for me!

p.s. used 4 or 5 boards (but didn't realize they had a back! ugh...so should have used two, but definitely could have used one front and back if I didn't write all huge and messy like a crazy person!)

ps also have a job lined up waiting on these results :( This is killing me!

Pearson VUE does not allow "brain dumping" which is using the white board to write down facts and figures before you have a test question related to it. 4 or 5 white boards would definitely get you flagged, especially since you only had 76 questions. That's about one white board per 15 questions. What did you write to take up so much space?

Hi,

I didn't write down any facts before a question, no lab values, nothing and didn't write anything until the test actually started and after the tutorial.

Well I only used the front of the boards first of all, didn't realize there was a back.

I write things like 1,2,3,4 then cross out the numbers. I would write key words in the question down, calculations down, if a question had a certain disease I would write down some facts about that disease to help me think through the question, honestly it was really random...whatever I needed to help me think at the moment. Some questions I didn't write anything down.

But like I said, I also write really BIG and messy. I would have wrote neater and smaller if I knew this could get me flagged. Like one calculation I did twice and it took up a third of the board, I was just writing big, crossing out labels, didn't think anything of it! Now I'm paying for it.

But for sure, no brain dumping happened. Didn't write anything down before any question, not even lab values. My boards will actually follow the exam questions, except for ones I didn't write anything down.

I especially thought nothing of it, because my marker died, but I wasn't going to ask for another board. The testing lady saw my board and was like want another board, I said sure! Why not?

after 8 days of waiting, I found out I passed!!!!! Do not overuse the whiteboards, not worth the wait :p

i told u rite!!!!!!!!:)

ENJOYYYYY!!

You did :) :) Thanks for all the support!

oh no!!!

I got the same message ( that my results is on hold)

I didnt brain dump but I had a ABG question and I wrote the normal values on the board to help me remember the normal values and that was it, nothing els on the who ite board.

PLease someone, what now? What is this flagging. I never heard of it. Did I do something wrong? :scrying:

My computer shut off at 75 questions- 2 hours

So I took my test today for the second time. The first time I tried the PVT and of course it took me to the cc screen. Today when I came home I tried the PVT again and got the message that my results were on hold. Im trying to figure out why I got the message. On one of my allotted breaks I went out for a smoke and when I got back the woman at the desk kinda yelled at me and asked me what I had just put into my locker. I kindly replied my water and cigs. SHe asked me if I took my cell phone and I told her that I didnt and she went around a corner to talk to someone and came back to look at my locker. She told me next time to just take the individual cigerette. I apologized and said OK....would this hold back my results. The test stopped me at 124 Q's, but Im a real slow test taker. Took me about 3 1/2 hours. Any ideas anyone???
