Results on hold pop up

Hey Everyone,

I took the NCLEX Saturday 3/20 at 2pm and tried out the PVT as soon as I got home and of course several times since including today. Well, I keep getting a pop, but not the one to relieve my anxiety over what my results might be. I got the one that states the following, "The candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time."

I figured I would share my experience as there are only a few postings where people have received this pop up when attempting to register again to see if the "good pop up" comes up to informally say one has passed the exam.

Tuesday should be the day I will be able to do the quick results thing, however, from what I have read, people with this pop up have waited longer even if their state offers the quick results due to the reason behind the hold which for one person was they took the exam too fast, another person was told by their state's nursing board that their ssn was missing thus causing the delay-both of these people ended up finding out they passed the exam. I have found one person posting that this pop up came up and they later found out they failed.

I will keep you all posted as to what ends up happening in my case. I would love to have others that may have experienced this pop up post as well.

you know what? they had a problem with my vein scanning this morning too will that delay my result? I took my exam today at 8am and did the Pearsonvue trick it says The candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.

Hey, I took my exam yesterday at 0800 and I'm having the same pop up. Can you please tell me what your end result was?

So I took the exam at 0800 on yesterday morning and I to got the same "on hold" pop up. I am freaking out!!!! BIFG TIME.. I just want to know if I passed or failed so I can make my next moves. The waiting is the worst.

you're posting on some pretty old threads, you might not hear back from people who haven't been here in months or years. But maybe I can help with some of that anxiety. HOLD is placed on any exam that is going to have an additional review prior to the results being released to the BON for your state. It can be because you finished unusually fast, stood up when you shouldn't have, wrote on your whiteboard before you were directed to, had a weird palm scan, actually anything at all can trigger the review. It has no affect on the results of the test itself, it's only to determine that there wasn't any cheating going on, that the test is valid, like that. If you didn't do something you know you shouldn't have done, like someone who posted about going to her locker to get her cell phone on break--duh) then you'll be fine. The Hold status can last a few hours or a few days. Don't make yourself crazy, it'll be over soon! Good luck :-)

Hi.... I got the same thing. I took mine Tuesday... today is Thursday. Still no results. I tried the pearson view trick.. but it does not work unles you results have already been delivered~!! this is my second time taking NCLEX>.. I am freaking out! I chatted with someone on PearsonVue this morning to see what would cause this message and she just confirmed that yes my results are on hold.. THank you!! I asked why and how long.. she said there is no specific time frame! Im dying! I have no idea how long Im going to have to wait! SHe said they are investigating something that may have been irregular with the test>. Not sure what that means. She said if they need further info.. i'll be contacted. THis has added to my stress level 100 times!

I did not even take a break during the test. 200 questions in 4.5 hours. No problem that I know if with my Palm scan and I did not use the white board. The only thing I can think of is that when I got there.. I found out I did not have my license with me so I had to run home She gave me extra time for that so I did not really start when I was scheduled. Maybe that triggered it??? I don't know.

I'll let you know what I end up finding out! Thanks

Hey I just took the NCLEX yesterday at 2 p.m. and still getting the pop up of Test is on hold etc. Can you tell me finally if you passed or not and how long did it take for you to finally find out. Thanks in advance

I am writing this in hopes to share my experience and maybe give some of you waiting some hope. I just took my NCLEX on Thursday! It’s saturday now 531 am! I got all 265 questions and it took me 3.5 hours! I was so scared when that computer just kept going instead of shutting off that by the question 160 I began to cry! I came out convinced I failed! The next two days were torture! First thing that happened was I got an email from Pearson saying “now that you finished NCLEX “.. I read somewhere that’s a good sign but I’m not sure. Then I tried the trick! Initially my results were on hold, then 2 hours after I got the message “you can only register for one exam at the time” . This pop up didn’t even let me proceed to credit card part. I was beginning to be hopeful there but couldn’t find anyone with similar experience anywhere.

Then few hours after that it changed to being on hold again! Friday was the worst day! It was on hold most of the day and I just kept reading post after posts! I couldn’t concentrate, eat or anything! Finally one of my friends who took it with me tried to register again and got the good pop up! She encouraged me to do as well! I was shaking but at 6 pm on Friday I did it and got the same pop up! My heart was pounding and my hands were shaking! My hopes began to rise.

At 4 am in the morning I got an email from my nursing regulatory body that I passed my NCLEX and I can register as an RN! I don’t think I was ever more happier to spend money.

It was the worst and longest 48 hours of my life! I tot tally felt like I failed and already began to research preparation courses and materials.

i used the uworld and it was great but I don’t think you are ever completely ready for those questions! But don’t loose hope! You can pass with 265!
