Nursing Students CNA/MA

So I experienced a resident that was transferring fall and now i'm being told that i'm suspended until am investigation is completed. Does anyone know if I will lose my license if neglect is found? Can I work as a CNA at another facility if i'm under investigation?

Please help.

If the facility reports it to whatever board governs your license, the board would also investigate. I believe that depends on what state you're in.

They will be doing an investigation... Would I lose my license if they find me guilty of neglect?

What was the resident listed as during transfers? 1 x assist or 2 x assist? Did you use a gait belt? Were they wearing shoes or non-slip socks? Need more background.

Your job cannot personally take away your license if they find you guilty of neglect. They would be required to report you to your state board.

Your state board would be the ones that control your license. Your job would report you to your board, and your board would do their own investigation. If the board finds you responsible, you'll be disciplined.
