I am doing a research on kangaroo care in the NICU-most of the articles i have found are old in the late 90's and a few in the early 2000's. Do you have any suggestions on good articles? Thanks.

If you haven't already, join Neonatal Network, which is part of the Academy of Neonatal Nursing. You'll have access to all their journals online, as well as a subscription. Their journal is excellent in my opinion, and you get 20 free ceus a year. They had an entire issue a few months back that was devoted entirely to developmental care and kangaroo care....

A Medline/Medscape search may have some results for you....
Thanks Steve. I am a member of NANN in fact i just renewed-$95. I want good scientific research(i am in a rn to BSN program) and its a group project-hate it. If they are good research articles then i will consider the possibility of joining. I am back in school full time, paying full time tuition and working very little so the budget is a little tight. Let me know. Thanks.

Just wondering-are they in peer review jornals?
Yes, she´s in the Lancet, Acta Paediatrica, Br Med J and Pediatrics. She´s one of the most respected when it comes to KMC research.

Also try the journal of maternal/child health. I believe that there is a link to the website on this website with the other journals.
