requirements for new york BON

Hi all,

I am an international graduate nurse graduated 2006, taken the nclex but failed it so now im planning to re apply my application in new york. Do they require international graduates to have a license where they got there education from?

hello to every1, ;) i really like to work as an RN in NY, i havent started anything yet. I just started with my CGFNS online acount, CVS is quite confusing to me, i am a Philippine national currently residing and working in United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi). I hope somebody could help me on these questions:

1. Do i need to enter/declare in CVS that i currently hold a licence here in Abu Dhabi? or only my Philippine licence is required?

2. Do i need to enter/declare in CVS all the schools that I attended since grade school until college? or only high School and college? or only College?

3.When should I send my application to NYSED? before, during, or after my CVS?

1. If the form asks you to list countries you hold a nursing license in then Yes you need to declare it.

2. Put everything down and let CGFNS make the decision on who they contact.

3. You can send it anytime but NY will not look at it until your CVS reaches them
