Hi flamingwallflower, im working on my cvs right now for ny. You think i should send my application now since im scared they might change or add requirements just like other states. Im also looking on applying to florida since i already have ces that i used in nevada state before i just need to ask cgfns to send copy to them. Do you think its a good idea to apply to florida? Im just looking for other options since cvs said it will take 6-8 months. Hope to here from u.

CES can take up to 4 months. As mentioned where do you intend to practice?

And based on your series of queries, you haven't made up your mind on really where to apply for the NCLEX-RN. Most credential evaluation services takes somewhere 6-8 months to finish so you have to decide where to apply first so you can get all the help you need. Unless you're time constrained. Are you in the US under a tourist visa?
Hi flamingwallflower, yes i know they have all the rights to change. right now, i have a student visa. I dont mind which state as long as they will allow me to take nclex. My inquiries here is just to know what better options are open.As far as i know, its okay to apply in a couple of states at the same time.

You're a foreign graduate nurse, in the US under a student visa, and you'll try to seek employment after passing the NCLEX? Are you here to further your education or to work because not having an SSN won't get you anywhere.

Yes, you are right. For now, i cant be employed because of not having ssn. But i think foreign graduates are taking nclex exam for their own reasons maybe either just to challenge themselves or work on having ssn in the future and hopefully be able to work soon. Just because i dont have ssn im just gonna sit down and wait of course im planning to do something about it and hope for the best.
Hi! Im not an expert here but based on my experience when i took nclex in nevada and failed i just submit form for retake wait 45 days and pay to pearson vue but that depends if your application is already expired usually only for one year then you need to send the bon again.
