requirements for nclex in CA

Hello there!I'm a new member I hope any of you can help me.My question is fairly simple but so far I've had a difficult time getting an answer.I would like to know if a local nursing license(from my country of origin-Philippines) is required before i can get an"eligibility to take the nclex in California?".Thanks very much.:confused:

Remember if sitting the exam outside of the US there is an extra $150 fee to pay but not sure if you have to pay separately. Just send completed application form to the address you have posted
