I am a final year nursing student and i want to practice in the US. Do i still need to get my license here in my home country before travelling to the US and what other documents do i need?

Do you have work rights in the US? What country are you training in? Depends on the state many require a license from the country of education but not all.

Depends on the state you plan on living and working in. If you are the main applicant for a work/immigrant visa then with delays I would recommend finding a job and gaining experience

yes i have work rights in the US . currently i school in Ghana but my family lives in Texas. I was able to find out i don't require my home country license for Texas. i am planning to register with CGFNS to process my documents. Is there more i need to know or do now before i graduate to avoid any delays when i am ready to start the RN journey? Please when is the next NCLEX exam for this year going to be?

The exam is held most days depending on the center you pick that administers the test as not all test centers administer the exam
