what are the requirements in applying for RN job in California?

I have a question regarding requirements in applying for a nursing job in California..I lived here in the Philippines and I passed the nclex-rn exam 2 years ago. I haven't taken yet the english proficiency test..Is english proficiency test included in the requirements if I will be going there in a different visa?my fiancee visa was approved and i will be arriving there this june.please help me..tnx

Depends on the hospital, some will require it even if the state doesn't. I don't think BRN requires English exam. The thing is it will work to your benefit having good English skills especially when going for your job interviews
