Requesting an Interview with a NP for Class Discussion

Published

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone has time to talk to me through instant messenger so I can ask a few questions regarding the NP role. It shouldn't take more than 30 min, questions are: what is your responsibility, issues, resolution, how you like the role, and what made you choose the NP role.

The assignment is to interview someone who is already in a role that I would like to get into, and then to share the information with the group. Note that the answer is to be shared within a group of 3-4 people, but your name, location, and anything you do not wish to have me share will not be shared.

I would like to first thank anyone for reading this. If you have that 20-30 minutes to spare, please contact me via private message.

No offense David, but why the heck is your school wasting your valuable time?

Haha! Zenman, I'm feeling similar about my class.

I have essentially the same assignment for my MSN class as well. Except I have to write a paper about it. Looking at the syllabus for this and other classes I'm not seeing a lot of content other than busy work. Hoping it improves.

I'll be glad to answer written questions but 20-30 minutes of interview time will be hard - work is brutal at the moment.

And, I'm a CNS in an NP role if that matters.

Trauma, I don't know if David found someone but I am taken care of (found a coworker that is able to help me out). Thanks!

Gotcha - good luck.
