Replace NLE with NCLEX

Published

Have NCLEX in Ph.You pass-->Philippine Nurse's License. No need for PRC to make an exam, use the NCLEX.

the phil can adapt how nclex is done

but it can not be a substitute for the nle because the situation in the philippines is different from the us.

nclex exam sometimes cover situations that are only present in the us... say for example, the statistics... the common diseases in the state... drugs etc...

the same thing goes with the nle in the phil.. it will cover herbal plants common in the country, epidemiology that is not based in the us/statistics not based in the us... communicable diseases that are rampant in tropical countries...

in short, the practice/ standard of nursing in the phil is different from the us.

Specializes in Medical-Surgical.
Is this true- if you take the NCLEX and pass it, you could get a license in the Ph just by showing your score. No need to take the NLE.

No, it isn't true.

is this true- if you take the nclex and pass it, you could get a license in the ph just by showing your score. no need to take the nle.

wat score? they have a different system of scoring...

they have a different exam...

they pose different levels of questions..

they are different.

the nclex-rn is meant for the standards of the us while the nle is meant for the standards of the phil. do not think that the nle is inferior to the nclex becoz both licensure exams are meant to test the competence of nurses based on their (country's) standards ;)

if you made it in the nclex, what do you need the nle for if you are not goin to practice in the phil?!

the nclex is not ur passport to practice ur profession in the phil...

so if you are planning to practice in the phil, register for the local licensure exam and pass it fair and square.. hehe :p
