I applied to renew my CA license online back in August and it’s still pending as of 10/13/20. There are no deficiencies noted or anything else they need from me so why is it still pending? Anyone else have this problem?

Same here! I submitted my application to renewal license on end of September. My status now is still pending open and no deficiencies. I just sent email to the board, and of course no reply from them yet. And updates on your case???

That's a bit worrisome. Back in August, I renewed my RN, NP, and NPF online and had a response in 1 week. Could you call the BRN? I noticed though that there were more questions in the renewal process and the actual CEU's have to be reported.

Thank you. I will call on Monday.

Are you able to work then if your license has not been renewed? Is it technically expired? I’m afraid of this happening to me when I renew my license in June (I’ve had some legal issues this year :/) so I’m just wondering if you’re currently working still!

No, if it is expired you absolutely cannot work.

I’m aware that’s why I asked if OP was still working and what the situation was since it’s been months since his/her license was to be renewed.
