thank you,

topcat

just found out about this site today. Congrats, seems everybody on this page got accepted. Just recieved my package today. Am from out of town, does anybody know about affordable apartment close to school or is anybody looking to share?

Congrats spyeye. I know there are nice apartments in the Lake Mary area with close distance to Remington. However, I don't know specifics!

Is anyone filling out Fafsa? I noticed the package information states the deadline was December 10, 2010 for January start programs. Has anyone spoke with the financial adviser yet? I suppose I should get on this! Any financial aid recommendations from anyone would be great...

I found out we will not get much out of FASA because we are pursing a second bachelors degree. The majority of the monies to pay for the tuition will come from loans.

I also found out most of the required vaccines are not covered by insurance and they are expensive.

That does not not sound good brooklynborn. By the way, Crooklyn in da house!:smokin:

I still need a place to live. And I suspect it will be difficult to get an apartment as a full time student.

I am finding out the same things. The vaccines are going to be very expensive! I am trying to get shot records from Ohio where I grew up for some of them, but I don't know if I will be able to get them or not. As far as the FAFSA I'm not sure. I went ahead and filled mine out some time ago just in case I was accepted, but I guess I did a couple things wrong because the financial aid advisor sent me an email and showed me what to correct. I assume if I can correct things, you should still be able to submit one. Call the financial aid advisor though. He is very very helpful and up front about things! I am just trying to figure out what I am going to do to cover the GAP between what we get from the government and what we owe.

Does anyone know yet what our class schedules are going to be like? Days and times??

Still have space for a Remington Student. 3 miles from school. 3 rooms avalible at the moment. Email me for pictures and information.

Hello All!

I got accepted into the Jan 2011 class and have the opportunity to test out of Pathophysiology before classes start Jan 24th. I know its going to be tough but I am still gonna try :) Do any of you by chance have a final exam review or have any suggestions on possibly passing this thing? Thanks for your help!!!

Anybody have luck with finding a decent & cheap apartment in Lake Mary or the surrounding areas?

having the same issue. am out of state so am basically relying on reviews on the apartments.those around lake mary seem to be too expensive.am definately looking to room with smone cant afford single apartments

Another obstacle you will be facing if you do not have a vehicle is transportation. I found a place to live in Altamonte Springs which is 15 to 20 minutes away from the school by car. However, it's 2 1/2 hours by bus. Not to mention, when you have clinical sites you have to travel to.
