Remington College of Nursing - Orlando
I'm moving into Village Lakes in Sanford. It's about 10min to the school & the rent is 499 with water included.. Thats not bad at all for the area & the proximity to the school. You wont have a problem with the lease as long as you show proof of your student loans as income for the year. I also found a place in Altamonte Springs (Remington Place) that has everything included if you're up for the drive/ride. Good luck with finding something :)

Thanks alanas09 rockinned I wont be seeing you at orientation if I cant find a place to live.. lol Ive been looking on the various sites and made a list of apts. When I looked at ratings from the tenants, I crossed off over half of them! I'm going down next week also to check out a few of the apts. Do you mind telling me which ones you're looking at so we can compare? I cant pm because I dont have enough posts yet. My email is [email protected] Congrats Apahsia! Do you have any family or friends that can sign with you on an apt? I'm not married so I've got my parents coming down with me to co-sign if they want someone thats working. I've lived in an apt w/o a job in college before and they just wanted me to pay a larger deposit & I paid my rent up thru half of my lease when I got my student loan check.

My GPA is 3.4 & I can't exactly remember my TEAS score.. Surely you'll hear something by next week since the Thanksgiving holiday will probably slow the mail down.. Good luck! I'm sure we'll meet when classes start:D

I applied for the Jan 2011 term. After my interview I was told that they may let people know early (November) or they may wait for all the apps & let everyone know in December. Soooo, I called to ask when letters would be sent & was told the beginning of December this time...

Accelerated Nursing Program?
im in alabama so im not sure if its different here but they offer an rotc scholarship at the school im applying to for 1-4 yrs and you can go into officers training as long as you make a commitment to the army of 6 years i think... i looked at it because i also want to apply to the acc bsn program. talk to a recruiter about it or look on the army website to research which schools offer the program and what the length of the scholarship and commitment is. good luck

Accelerated Nursing Program?
you mentioned wanting to be a combat nurse. you should look for a school that offers nursing rotc. they will pay for the degree and give you a stipend every month. you would also be able to get your masters level course work paid for since nurses are in high demand in the military. good luck with finishing up that last year!
