Remember my talk with students about impaired nursing?

It didn't happen last week because of a snafu.......(read: the instructor f'got!). We did it today and it went SO well. One of the students works in the staffing office at the facility I was diverting at, and I could see the light come on in her brain, like "So that's what happened!"

I fielded some very insightful questions and they seemed really interested. I wish I'd thought of doing this years ago.

It's soo great that you're willing to share your experience with students like that. Having someone speak so frankly to them about such a topic makes it more of a reality than a "that's never going to happen to me/anyone I know" scenario. Glad it went so well.
