Has anyone ever tried Remar Review? If so how do you feel about? Did it help you with NCLEX? I've failed NCLEX twice & just need some advice.

Night shift is sooo brutal, I hate it! Let me respond to Love81. Hi, does Remar Review DVDs goes along with the new nclex test plan? It is content based so yes it does remember like she said core content (diabetes, delegation, etc.) doesn't changed. Does it covers more content/topics than the quick facts? No not necessarily more; but different, QF is to be used with the workbook. So they kinda work together. QF doesn't talk about priority, delegation, infection control so I am glad I got the whole review. Does it help with critical thinking? Yes the review does but I think because it makes you more confident in your base knowledge. I did the private tutoring so she helped me get out of the bad habits I learned in nursing school. If you are doing the DVDs on your own honestly do the homework and try to answer the questions without waiting for her to answer them. Is the DVDs longer & thoroughthan the youtube videos? Yes the DVD's are totally different than the YouTube videos they are more lecture style but still not as long as Kaplan's. ReMar is good about keeping your attention and she doesn't read from her notes at all which is nice. The PN/RN review is pretty similar I asked her if I needed to do the RN review before testing and she said no. She tries to prepare the PNs like the RNs which I think made the difference for me this time. I passed! That PN test was alot tougher than people give attention to. Hurst does the same thing the LPN/RN is identical so they probably know something we don't. I hope this helped somebody I feel like I am just carrying on...

Thank you.... I can't wait to buy it

How's the private tutoring??I have to wait 1 more month to get tutoring from her.Is it helpful??How many hours does she tutor through the phone as her website says 8 intensive hours.I am so confused whether her private tutoring is going to help me or not??It's for NCLEX-RN exam and is there any questions to practice from??I wanted someone to tutor me as i am always near the passing in all the progress report as i have appeared NCLEX-RN exam multiple times.I do not know wht am i doing wrong tht i always get the same result.

Didn't know ReMar had the "bill me later" option with Paypal. Nice touch for those who can't afford to immediately pay for the review. You will receive your NCLEX Review package and pay later. Of course it's like a "credit card" with minimum monthly payments.

Disclaimer: I'm NOT, and I repeat NOT, NOT, NOT, endorsing the use of credit cards, just simply making a statement.

Best wishes to you all.:)

Well yes I used other things in the past but I was unsuccessful, with ReMar I did use Saunders which was so much easier to understand. I think people should take a NCLEX review before opening up Saunders lol. I also used the ReMar blog after my sessions were over. I used LeCharity book for delegation questions, and skimmed my exam cram. Also you can find lots of tips on allnurses website reading other peoples' stories helped me not to give up.
