I feel your pain. I am thinking about a travel assignment, but I hate to spend $200 + to get a Florida license and then not get a Florida job. However, I think it is only a matter of time before we get Florida jobs and it takes weeks to get a Florida license. My recommendation is to getter done!

I have been looking for RN jobs for the past few weeks with no luck getting any interviews. I am an RN with 10 months experience and am planning on moving around November which will make me a RN with one year experience in a step-down ICU floor.
Should I apply for my Florida license now? I was waiting since I don't want to move if I can't find a job right away. I don't want to spend the extra money and still be without a job.
I am looking for jobs in the Fort Lauderdale area. If anyone has any suggestions, please respond or PM me.
Thanks so much.
