relocating to VA (Richmond)- need opinion on workplaces

U.S.A. Virginia

Hello all,

I am relocating to Richmond, Virginia from Pennsylvania. I am looking to work in a hospital setting. I would greatly appreciate any opinions on the city hospitals in Richmond. Anything - good experiences, bad, best paying, public vs private hospitals. I am very open to any of them. I have especially been looking at VCU, riverside hopitals, Bon Secours. I would probably prefer a public hospital and a larger setting. Thanks so much.

Where is VCU? I relocated here from New Orleans two months ago and am getting no responses from hospitals and am beginning to get frustrated :-(

In the heart of VA. What is your experience?

Nichellesum- try VCU, they always have open LPN positions. I don't know about openings at other hospitals but there are many in the area you can try, and all are great! VCU, the VA, St. Mary's, Henrico Doctors, try the Virginia Womens Center at Henrico Doctors for OB, Chippenham, St. Francis... There are so many and the job field in Richmond is good! You will easily find a job :)
