I believe that you can atleast make that if not a little more. I'm a new grad graduating in May and my offered salary isn't too far from that more if I include my differentials. Plus I was told I would recieve a raise after orientation and a second raise after completing my first year. I'll also receive a $7K sign-on bonus. Where are you relocating from? Have you already moved here?
**Edit** I was referring to the $41k mentioned in your post not the $55K.
You're right on - babynurselsa! That's about right. "awsmrn" - take into account the number of hours you 'average' working per week and multiply x52 to get an ave number of yearly hours worked. Then when you take your annual pay you can divide by the right number of hours worked. I think sometimes people don't realize their hourly rate really is related to whether they are working 3-12s/week or 5/8s a week. You can tell I've worked a lot of hours!
A good website to compare monies in moving is www.homefair.com

Hello,
I may be relocating to Tulsa, OK. I've searched the internet and found several sites stating the average wage in Tulsa for BSN is $55,000 a year.
I understand from reading posts that this is a higher figure than actual.
I've noticed that nobody wants to post their actual wage, but I would appreciate anyone who would let me know what the actual wage is in the Tulsa area.
I currently work in KS. My critical care unit is a 15 bed unit. My salary for 8 years is $ 41,000 a year.
Any info about wages and or hospitals to work for would be great!
Thanks,
Angela
