Relocating for a part time position

I have an interview for a part time position at a hospital in London Ontario. The only issue I have is that I would need to move cities for this part time job and I'm afraid I will not be able to make ends meet only with part time hours (I believe she said it's 24 hrs biweekly). Some people have told me that its possible to be hired part time but work full time hours. I'm afraid to ask because I don't want to seem too demanding. It has been a year since I've been out of school and I am pretty desperate for a job.

Any advice?

hi,

I'm trying to find a hospital job in London ON, but seems very difficult without any connection. How was your experience and did you pick the job finally ?

I would only budget for the hours you're guaranteed. Crunch some numbers and see if you can swing it. I graduated in the us during the recession, and some of my classmates did moved for part time jobs. The pay is likely different though so you really have to play with the budget yourself.
