  1. Well I was told before taking the drug test to come back in another day and bring in the pill box. This is super depressing though. I've been out of school for a year so I am no longer covered under my parents insurance which as why I didn't go to the doctors in the first place after falling. I really didn't think that by taking one Tylenol #2 pill that wasn't prescribed to me would totally destroy my chances of employment. Actually, I took the pill even before I landed an interview. I guess I'll just have to wait and see...
  2. Hello everyone, I just have a random question. About 3 weeks ago, I took a Tylenol #2 because I fell on my hips and it was super sore. Anyways, I had a pre-employment drug test done today and I did mention that I took a tylenol #2 a few weeks back. My only issue now is that it wasn't my prescription, it was my moms. Do you think this will be an issue?
  3. Thanks everyone for your comments and suggestions. I was able to briefly interview a nurse at my local ER, however, it was a bit rushed so I was also able to interview another ER nurse online. The information that they both gave me were really useful!
  4. I have an interview for a part time position at a hospital in London Ontario. The only issue I have is that I would need to move cities for this part time job and I'm afraid I will not be able to make ends meet only with part time hours (I believe she said it's 24 hrs biweekly). Some people have told me that its possible to be hired part time but work full time hours. I'm afraid to ask because I don't want to seem too demanding. It has been a year since I've been out of school and I am pretty desperate for a job. Any advice?
  5. Thanks everyone, I think I'm going to try my local ED. I was hesitant about this at first cause I didn't want to be a bother by going there just to find someone to interview, but ill give this a try. Its an online course for an emergency nursing certificate program in Ontario.
  6. Through email is sufficient!
  7. Hello everyone, I'm a new grad currently working towards my emergency nursing certificate. I currently have an assignment to complete which involves interviewing an emergency nurse. Since I am a new grad who is currently unemployed, I do not know any emergency nurses that I can interview. For this reason, I was hoping that there would be a kind emergency nurse out there that would be willing to help me out. Thanks in advance!
