Relocating to Orlando

Nurses General Nursing

Published

Hello! I am graduating from nursing school at the end of April. I currently live in Pittsburgh, PA but will be relocating to Orlando, Florida. I want to work in pediatrics and I have started to to apply to positions down there.

The three hospitals I have applied to so far are Nemours Children's Hospital, Florida Hospital for Children, and Arnold Palmer. Can anyone give me any advice or insight into these hospitals or other pediatric hospitals in the area? Is there anyone at these hospitals that I can contact directly about employment opportunities?

Any help would be very much appreciated!

FH and AP both hire new grads only through their residency programs. On the plus, they do tele-interviews for the many people interviewing from out of state. On the negative, there are a lot of applicants and they're both pretty competitive programs to get into. Good luck. :)

Thank you! Do you know how the two programs are as a whole? Like whether or not nurses like working there or if they have high turnover? Or how the two compare?
