Congrats on the possibilities ..Good luck !! I am a new Grad of an ABSN program in Boston..I would love to work in SC...What did you have to do to be considered? I see alot of places want ACLS and BLS as well as South Carolina license..How are you doing on that end??

I already have my ACLS and BLS. But I know it will take 10 days to get my SC license and I let them know because they gave me a month to relocate.

If you decide to move to Greenville, you should enjoy it. I am from Greenville and I love it. In my opinion, the best apartments are on Pelham Rd (downtown Greenville end). It is a great location. On that road you are right near Publix (grocery store) and the Haywood Mall. Also you would only be 5-10 minutes from the Greenville Hospitals. Check out downtown Greenville! If you like wings Wild Wing Cafe is great. Main street has all types of restaurants. Falls Park is downtown. It has a grassy area with a bridge that goes over a waterfall which is beautiful. If you get manicures, pedicures, or eyebrows done top spa nails on Woodruff road is great. I've been going there for 6 years. If you get massages I would suggest Hand and Stone on woodruff road. Between Woodruff Road and Haywood Road there is just about anything you could imagine.

Good luck!

Where did you find a position? I'll be relocating there in august for family reasons and was wondering what the pay rate is? By august I'll have 2 years experience as an MA, six months experience as an LPN, and six months experience as an RN. Was it fairly easy for you to find a job while living in another state? How did you do it and what pay did they offer? If you don't mind me being nosy...thanks!!
