There are a ton of nurse residency programs depending on the area that you want to move to. I would start out by looking at those. I'm a grad from last May who applied while living in a northern state. A lot of the residency programs that I applied to were open to interviewing me over Skype so it made it a lot easier to look from home.

What part of FL, big difference between North, South, and Central.
When did you start applying? Did you start applying way ahead of time?
Tampa area
Tampa General has an awesome new grad program. A lot of my friends from nursing school were hired there. I was thinking about moving there myself, but didn't
Are you out of state then? Did they hire out of state grads?
no we went to school in FL, but none of us from Tampa. I'm kinda kicking myself in the foot for not applying to their new grad program. My friends are loving it.
FWIW I have started applying to Tampa General's program. I can't think of anything I want more right now.
