Relocate to Wisconsin, WI

Hello AN!!!

I would like to make a post to those who live in Wisconsin. I plan on relocating there next year to a nursing program in Fennimore. WI. I will be coming from the west coast where the and would like some insight on the nearest cities to Fennimore..job market for a lvn and CNA and cost of living. thank you!!! btw I am a minority and no offense to those but I have heard different stories about Wisconsin....not sure what to expect but open minded to the new adventure.

I sent you a PM but I think we've PM'd before. That's pretty much the middle of nowhere. I'm not sure you'll find much out before you get there.

I've always lived in southeastern WI and while Milwaukee has its issues overall I'd say Wisconsinites are friendly and welcoming.

Not sure about Fennimore...looks like it is located in SW WI. I live in the northwoods, so probably wont be much help. Good luck and welcome to WI!

Melizerd , I'm not sure if we have PM'd before. I am trying to find a place to live where the drive is up to one hour and hospital or surgical center to work....the school is in Fennimore ...how far is that from Madison?

Madison is about 1hr 20-30 min from there. I don't know enough about the area to have any idea about housing. Maybe the school has someone they can put you in touch with that can help.
