Hi, I live in southern California and will be starting a LVN program this year. Once I've completed the program and pass the test, I would like to get my Associate Degree. Now in the CA market, its very difficult and waiting lists have skyrocket. I would like to know how the market is in TN? Is it easier to get into any lvn-rn programs?
Any schools that you recommend?
Hopefully their are 1 year lvn-rn (ADN) programs available :)
Thanks in advance

Most of our programs in TN are LPN-RN so I'm not really sure if they would view LVN the same as an LPN. All of the public community colleges offer LNP-RN programs that traditionally start in June. I know southwest only takes 30 students/per yr BUT you could always just go into the RN program which is admitted Spring and Fall

California and Texas utilize the LVN title, whereas the remaining 48 states refer to their basic nurses as LPNs. So once the OP endorses her California LVN license into Tennessee, she will possess a Tennessee LPN license.
