My class took a HESI exam recently, and I did pretty well. I got a nice cushion over the recommended score of 950. But I was really freaking out about it (I was in tears days before taking it) because I was getting percentages in 50's-60's on the HESI Practice exams (minimum was 75% and recommended 85%) Also, our school has us do practice questions every few weeks from the Lippincott book, and I get pretty much the same grades on those as well.
So somehow, I managed to ace the real thing, but now I wonder if I can trust that it will translate to NCLEX? Of course I'm not going to just blow it off, I'll still study and prepare, but should I not STRESS!! about it like I was before?
I am just terrified of not passing, and my scores on practice exams are giving me good reason to be afraid...

Don't let predictor exams bother you. Most of my class failed our tests and I failed miserably. I didn't change my strategy for study and still managed to pass the boards. You just need to prepare well and don't let distractors bother you. In my experience it seems like these predictor exams are more a distraction than a help.
Thanks, I'll try not to let this throw me off my plan either way...
