Registration question for AHPRA

Hey everyone! I am an RN in the states with an Associates degree (my Bachelors will be finished in May), and I am attempting to wade through all of the muck to get an RSMS visa in NSW. I'm in the "gathering all of the proper documents" phase, to get registered, because I think that's the only place to start. heh. Anyways, my question is, there is no place on the application that asks how many years of education you've had. Will I be turned down for registration because I have only my associates degree? This doesnt make sense to me, because for the rsms visa, you only need a diploma equivalent. How can I get the AHPRA to realize this---

any help is greatly appreciated!!

Oh yes, and also, do I need to "prove" that I took the NCLEX? If so, how would I go about this.

You will need to provide license from state (verification) and usually goes direct from the them to AHPRA. Check out your state BON website

Hi! Please help me with this! I am a USA ADN and trying to move to Christchurch to work. I am here now actually. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! This is way too confusing of a process!

This is an old thread and no telling if the OP still comes on the site.

Your starting point would be with the country's nursing board and seeing what requirements are for International Trained Nurse

Christchurch is a city in NZ and does not come under AHPRA which is the professional regulation board for Australia.

You will have to contact or look up the website for the Nursing council of New Zealand.

New Zealand and Australia a fully functioning separate independent from each other, countries.
