registration at pearson vue

hello guys! i need help.. i live in manila & i want to register at pearson vue so i can have my ATT released & registration costs $200, the thing is i dont have a credit card  can i just ask my friend who lives abroad to pay for my registration thru her debit card even if she doesnt live here? and for test scheduling can she also call them to schedule for my test since i dont have a debit card? how did u guys settle yur payment? thank you! :redpinkhe

yes you can hae your friends register for you. and she can eve have the schedule for you as long as you provide her you candidate number as a reference she will give to the attndant f the pearsonvue goodluck

Maybe a better way is if your friend just provide you her credit card number and you register yourself. Also, maybe you can have a relative or someone else in Ph borrow her credit card number and you just pay her the equivalent of it. It doesn't have to be someone from the US.

Also, double check if pearson-vue allows debit card as well. It's usually a credit card number.

If your friend make a slight mistake on answering the data on the registration form, it could cost you more. We've seen this happen.

The data in the pearson-vue registration form must exactly match (including giving the same e-mail add.) what you answered on your application form from the State BON or BRN.

You are taking this hard more than it should.

It is a simple matter. First of all, I only said to double check if they accept debit cards already. I did not say that they do not. If they do then you don't have a problem and even if they don't, finding someone with a credit card is really not a problem whether in the US or in PH. Form of payment is the least of your worries.

Problem is when you let someone do the registration for yourself. If they make a slight error it could mean problems for you. This is why we do not recommend that someone do whatever application forms for them and that they should do it themselves.

I just skimmed over the link I posted for you and saw that they accept debit cards. Any further details you would want should be done by yourself by going to that link I posted.

If you are being asked for the c.c. information you always put the owner's credit card information such as exact printed name on the card, expiration date, etc.. Also, when you call to Pearson-vue for scheduling and will be paying the extra $150, the operator will also ask the c.c. information and if it's yours or someone else's and so on and so forth. Using someone's credit card is fairly common. Just look at CGFN's and ICHP's application forms and there is even a form there for credit card payment and all that is being asked are all the credit card owner's information, including the authorized owner's signature, the name as it exactly appears on the card (as the name on the card need not be his full name).

There is also nothing wrong if the same card is used on the same day and for the same purpose as well.
